Blueprint Recruitment is looking to speak with Mechanical Design Engineers to join a leading Engineering Consultancy on a contract basis, outside IR35.

This role is offering the flexibility to work on a remote basis whilst contributing to an exciting Data Centre project.

As the selected candidate, you will have the opportunity to join an experienced Engineering team and play a crucial role in the design, implementation and maintenance of various Mechanical Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the concept through to construction

· Ensure projects are delivered to client requirements, budgets and quality standards

· Work closely with clients and project teams to establish requirements

· Represent the Company at meetings with stakeholders

· Prepare project reports

- Manage designs, ensuring they comply with the latest CDM regulations

· Liaise with the CAD team on M&E drawing production

· Complete risk and performance monitoring analysis through effective systems

Key Requirements:

· A Chartered Engineer status or working towards

· Previous experience working on Data Centre projects  

· A degree in Engineering or a similar field

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Working knowledge of key health and safety issues/legislation

· Past experience leading project team meetings

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

· Want to take ownership and use initiative

· Driven by client satisfaction
