Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a global Consultancy, on a permanent staff basis.
This opportunity offers the flexibility to attend the Leeds office on a hybrid basis.
Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the design, installation and maintenance of mechanical systems for a variety of Water and Energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop detailed designs for mechanical components
· Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments
· Prepare technical specifications and equipment schedules for mechanical components and systems
· Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and verify compliance with safety regulations
· Plan and oversee the testing, commissioning, and performance trials of mechanical systems and equipment installed
· Prepare commissioning reports and record test results
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and statutory regulations
Key Requirements:
· A degree in Engineering or a relevant field
· A Chartered Engineer Status or working towards
· Working knowledge of Mechanical equipment selection and application
· Knowledge of relevant design tools techniques and methods including, BIM, Plant 3D, AutoPIPE etc.
· Experience working on Water and Energy projects
· Skills in delivery of utility infrastructure such as, gas networks would be beneficial
· Strong knowledge of piping design standards and safety systems
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
