Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Principal Structural Engineer to join an Engineering and Data Analytics Consultancy, on a permanent staff basis in Gloucester.

As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and ensuring that Structural designs meet quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion

· Ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality Structural Engineering design

· Attend design team meetings and lead them if required

· Develop scopes of work and delivery programmes

· Offer support and guidance to more junior members

· Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities

· Review Structural Engineering analysis and design to Eurocodes and British Standards

· Carry out structural surveys

Key Requirements:

· A Chartered Engineer status or working towards

· A degree in Engineering or similar field

· Experience in the design of building structures to British Standards and Eurocodes

· Proven experience in developing projects from concept to construction

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Prior experience in actively managing clients

· Ability to manage and work to budget and program

· Experience in successfully leading the Structural Engineering delivery of projects

·The ability to make decisions and act on your own initiative

· Able to inspect works carried out on-site
