Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a Principal Structural Engineer to join a leading Engineering Consultancy, on a long-term contract basis.

This position offers the chance to work on a remote basis whilst working on an exciting Industrial project.

Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to be client facing as well as overseeing work completed by other Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Liaise with clients and design teams

· Lead projects or parts of projects to completion

· Ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality Structural Engineering designs

· Develop scopes of work and delivery programmes

· Offer support and guidance to more junior members

· Carry out structural surveys

· Lead client and project meetings

Key Requirements:

· Experience using masterseries

· 8-10 years’ experience working as a Structural Engineer

· A degree in Engineering or similar field

- Experience in the design of building structures to British Standards

· Proven experience in developing projects from concept to construction

·  Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Prior experience in actively managing clients

· Ability to manage and work to budget and program

· Experience in successfully leading the Structural Engineering delivery of projects

· Good technical structures knowledge in steel, concrete and masonry design

· Able to inspect works carried out on-site
