Blueprint recruitment is searching for a driven Quality Engineer to join a leading Technical and Engineering Services Consultancy on a permanent basis, in Warrington.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Project Quality program is implemented by the supply chain to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Our client is offering the chance to work with an enthusiastic team of Engineers, Technicians and Project Managers who have a wealth of experience in the Engineering industry.

The reputable Consultancy have seen an increasing demand for their services, in the MOD, Defence and Nuclear sectors.

 Key Responsibilities:

· Attend and participate in meetings with Project Leads, Clients and Supply Chain

· Update and provide KPI data for the project ensuring that it is being collated and presented for reporting

· Remain current on quality control practices and trends

· Recommend new processes or inspection methods to improve quality

· Coordinate with contract ESOH Manager to develop and maintain health and safety environmental policies and procedures

· Provide QE expertise and support

· Manage the production and review of supplier Manufacturing Inspection and Test Plans

· Attend inspections as required

· Report any problems to the Quality Manager

· Conduct internal/external management audits, prepare formal audit reports, and define audit schedules

Key Requirements:

· Experience of working in a highly regulated industry

· Degree in Quality Assurance or a similar field  

· Experience working in Engineering, Business Management or related field

· Nuclear Industry experience required

· Must be able to secure BPSS and SC

Ability to lead a team

·  Awareness of the relationship of quality assurance to other activities such as contract administration, Engineering, and supply

· Must have a valid UK driving license

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Experience with MS office (Excel and Word)
