Senior Mechanical Design Engineer required! Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a renowned Engineering Services Business, on a permanent basis. As the successful candidate, you will have the flexibility to work on a largely remote basis, attending site when required to work on exciting Industrial, Private Hospitals and Data Centre projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for, overseeing projects and ensuring mechanical inputs are correctly designed and installed, whilst being client facing. Our client offers a variety of Engineering services, such as, Gas, Water and Electrical. Key Responsibilities: · Able to be client facing whilst maintaining and developing positive client relations · Working with other Engineers, Associates and the Project Director, when possible, to ensure designs are valued and meet client specifications · Take ownership of specific skill areas or activities within technical knowledge networks · Prepare and review detailed Engineering calculations and solutions · Mentor and support Junior members of the team, with the possibility of formal line management responsibilities · Contribute to new innovative ideas, and collaborate within a team to make suggestions for innovation · Liaise with internal and external clients within the UK and worldwide · Attend company meetings and conferences where you will have the opportunity to present your project work · Working with and developing digital tools and products Key Requirements: · Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer · Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering · Working knowledge of CIBSE, HTM guidelines and Building Regulations · Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines · Chartered Engineer status or working towards · Good understanding and literacy in Microsoft packages · Excellent communication skills · Willingness to contribute to and develop our technical knowledge networks Benefits: · Expenses covered - A generous amount of holiday allowance · Company dividends opportunity · A competitive salary For further information on this opportunity, please contact Luke Rees on 02392 603030 or email luke.rees@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
