Calling all Commissioning Engineers! Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Commissioning Engineer to join a Utilities Contractor, on a permanent staff basis in Essex. The successful candidate will play a key role in carrying out inspections, tests and diagnostics on High Voltage Substations Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for project teams Attend Client progress meetings, pre-start meetings and client audits when required Encourage and integrate cost-effective working methods across the contracts Identify and resolve design issues raised on site Produce detailed Commissioning Plans Test and Commission High Voltage plant and apparatus on the 11kV, 33kV and 132kV networks Testing and Commissioning of Alarm and Control installations Review and if required, correct scheme provided drawings Ensure all plant and equipment is tested and commissioned to current legislation Support and mentor other members of the team to enhance their technical knowledge Key Requirements: A proven track record of Testing and Commissioning on and around the High Voltage distribution network Sound understanding of Engineering policy, procedure and legislation Strong interpersonal skills Able to identify and develop processes within operations to improve outputs Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation A degree in Electrical Engineering Full UK Driving license Benefits: 25 days' annual leave plus 8 days' bank holiday Annual bonus Pension scheme Life Assurance Private health care Company car and fuel card For further information on this opportunity, please contact Oliver Catalano on 02392 603030 or email oliver.catalano@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
