Here at Blueprint recruitment, we have a fantastic opportunity for a driven Technical Discipline Lead to join a well-known Advisory and Technical Consultancy, on a permanent basis. Our client provides the flexibility for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Croydon office. The respected Consultancy specialise in a range of sectors. However, would like the successful candidate to lead their Water Team. Key Responsibilities: · Prepare and supervise discipline designs, design calculations, tender documentation, scheme evaluations, design statements and other reports · Monitor quality of own discipline team work in accordance with good engineering practice, relevant standards, Codes of Practice, current design methods and Health & Safety legislation. · Check/ approve own discipline work, including third party design proposals, as identified in the Project Management Plan on assigned projects. · Carry out other duties identified in the Project Management Plan on assigned projects. · Have a good understanding of all relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety · Legislation and current design methods and provide general technical support to own discipline team members. · Assist with the preparation and maintenance of own discipline standard specifications as required. · Assist with the promotion of the capabilities of the company to current and prospective clients. · Monitor, plan and forecast utilisation of project resources · Support and develop more junior team members Key Requirements: · Previous experience within the Water Sector · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject · Good communication skills, both written and verbal · Chartered Engineer or working towards is preferred Benefits: · Life insurance · Pension schemes - Private medical insurance · Flexible working arrangements · A generous amount of holiday allowance, with the opportunity to buy and sell some For further information on this opportunity, please contact Max Williams on 02392 603030 or email max.williams@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
