Attention Senior Mechanical Engineers! Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join an independent Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Holborn. As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring Mechanical inputs are correctly designed and installed, whilst working with an established team. Our client provides Sustainability, Building Physics and MEP services for Commercial, Residential and Education projects. Key Responsibilities: · Design of mechanical services systems · Use of design software to prepare calculations and designs · Produce specifications and equipment schedules · Support more junior Mechanical Engineers · Delivery of work in line with ACE, RIBA and BSRIA frameworks · Ensure projects are delivered within budgets and timescales · Maintain and develop strong client relations · Attend design team and client meetings Key Requirements: · A degree in Engineering or a related subject · Extensive experience within either a building services Consultancy or a design Contractor · Previous experience using industry design software packages such as Cymap, EDSL and Hevacomp · Strong understanding of building services design · Great attention to detail · Working knowledge of the design of public health and drainage systems - Excellent knowledge of Sustainability measures e.g. renewable energy and BREEAM · Ability to use AutoCAD to prepare Engineering drawings · Experience using Revit MEP/BIM software modelling · Efficient communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: · 23 days holiday plus bank holidays · Company contributory pension · Private healthcare · Competitive salary · Hybrid working arrangements will be accommodated · Access to the company’s benefits package For further information on this opportunity, please contact Lauren Marsden on 02392 603030 or email lauren.marsden@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
