Calling Senior Structural Engineers! Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a reputable Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Hove to work on exciting Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects. As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for leading Structural Engineering projects, whilst providing technical expertise and mentoring junior staff members. Key Responsibilities: · Developing detailed designs · Preparing calculations in all major materials · Scheme designing to help design development · Analysing structural components · Develop designs through scheme stages through to construction · Contribute to the development of more junior staff members · Attending project and client meetings Key Requirements: · Chartered Engineer status or working towards · Mentoring experience is beneficial · Experience in the design in Reinforced Concrete, Steel Timber and Masonry · Past experience using Eurocodes · Experience working in a multidisciplinary Consultancy · Ability to use design software, including, Tekla, Tedd’s, CAD and Revit · Working knowledge of British, European and international standards · Strong communication skills · FEM Analysis and analysis modelling · Excellent understanding and use of Analytical/design and CAD software · Previous experience using Revit is advantageous Benefits: · A competitive salary · 28 days holiday allowance · Healthcare plan · 1 Friday off per month on top of 28 days holiday allowance · Ride to work scheme · Hybrid working opportunities For further information on this opportunity, please contact Pete Castle on 02392 603030 or email pete.castle@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
