Blueprint recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join a leading Engineering and Development Consultancy on a permanent, hybrid basis to play a key role in the execution of various refurbishment and new build projects. Our client is expanding the multi-disciplinary team due to an increasing demand for their excellent services in a range of sectors including, Education, Rail, Highways, Aviation, Infrastructure, Energy and Water. Key Responsibilities: · Responsible for the concept through to construction · Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed client requirements, budgets, profit margins and quality standards etc. · Lead and deliver design, construction and installation projects · Work closely with clients and project teams to establish project requirements · Representing the Company at meetings with customers, architects, professional teams and contractor teams · Prepare project reports for Management, Client and others · Manage designs compliant with latest CDM regulations, liaising with CAD team on M&E drawing production · Mentoring more junior Engineers when required · Coordination of Engineering services, with hands on delivery of concepts and detailed designs · Complete risk and performance monitoring analysis through effective systems of internal control and delegation Key Requirements: · Chartered Engineer status or working towards - Degree qualification in a relevant field · Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines · Already operating at Senior Engineer level or equivalent · Sound working knowledge of key health and safety issues/legislation · High level of experience at chairing and leading project team meetings · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team when required Benefits: · Competitive salary · Pension matched up to 7% · A competitive amount of annual leave and the option to purchase more · Life assurance · Enhanced parental leave · Flexible working arrangements will be accommodated as best as possible For further information on this opportunity, please contact Luke Hanson on 02392 603030 or email luke.hanson@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
