Senior Electrical Design Engineer required! Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a Specialist Design and Construction Company, on a permanent basis in Swindon. This position offers the flexibility to work on a largely remote basis! If selected, you will have the opportunity to work with Engineers and Technicians, whilst being responsible for the design and development of Electrical Systems, whilst leading design teams for Pharmaceutical projects. Key Responsibilities: · Undertake design calculations for Electrical installations · Provide input on design strategies · Design Electrical installations, including, drawings, diagrams, schematics · Complete project specifications and schedules · Ensure Electrical installations meet relevant British standards and Building Regulations · Lead an M&E team in the coordination and delivery of projects · Attend meetings, project reviews etc when required - Check other Engineer’s work · Contribute to the development of other Engineers · Ensure Electrical installations are energy efficient and meet low carbon requirements · Liaise with clients to understand their needs Key Requirements: · Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering field · Good communication and time management abilities · Able to apply theoretical principals to the design of building systems · Strong knowledge of the building design process · An eye for detail to maintain high quality standards · Awareness of energy and environmental EU and UK regulations · Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills · Prior experience in modelling software Benefits: · Generous amount of holiday · Access to the company benefits package · Hybrid working arrangements · Competitive salary For further information on this opportunity, please contact Luke Rees on 02392 603030 or email luke.rees@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
