Blueprint Recruitment has a brilliant opportunity for a dynamic CAD Technician to join a multidiscipline Building Services Contractor, on a permanent basis. This position offers the flexibility for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Whyteleafe office 3 days per week! The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high quality drawings and models for projects across the UK. Our client has a wealth of experience in offering the full range of MEP and Design Services in the following sectors, Commercial, Residential and Public. Key Responsibilities: · Ensure that all work meets the quality of the client brief · Collaborate with teams of Engineers, Designers, and other project staff · Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and instructions · Review drawings and plans to identify potential design issues · Maintain records of all drawings and project documentation · Assist in preparing and assembling project presentations and proposals · Coordinate with Contractors, Suppliers, and Vendors as needed · Stay updated on industry trends, CAD software updates, and best practices Key Requirements: · Degree qualified in a relevant field · Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial · Ability to contribute to the development of more junior staff members · Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks · Strong experience in technical drawing and drafting · Excellent analytical skills · Experience of developing and maintaining in-house CAD/BIM standards and tools · Able to liaise with stakeholders, including clients and other design teams · Good written and verbal communication skills · Extensive experience developing Engineering drawings based on sketches and markups into drawings and models Benefits: · A competitive salary for this role dependant on experience · Flexible working arrangements · Generous annual leave allowance For further information on this opportunity, please contact Lauren Marsden on 02392 603030 or email lauren.marsden@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
