Blueprint Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner to join a Construction Company, on a long-term contract basis, outside IR35.

The successful Senior Planner will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, attending the London office 3 days per week to contribute to exciting Data Centre projects.

If selected, you will be responsible for developing project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and timescale.

Our client offers Building Services and Engineering Services in multiple sectors, such as, transport, Education, Residential, Commercial and Leisure.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop detailed project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software Primavera P6

Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders

· Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies

· Monitor project progress against the established schedule

· Coordinate with resource managers to allocate labour, equipment, and materials

· Facilitate regular project planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review project schedules etc

· Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies

· Develop and support more junior staff

Key Requirements:

· Degree in Engineering or related field

- Previous Data Centre experience

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent MEP knowledge

- Ability to take on senior responsibilities

· Past experience in project planning and scheduling, ideally within on data centres

· Proficiency in project scheduling software, such as Primavera P6, Aster

· Proven leadership and team management skills

· Working knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to data centre design

· Experience with Lean construction principles and methodologies is a benefit

· Good communication and interpersonal skills
