Here at Blueprint recruitment, we have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a respected, Civil and Structural Engineering Practice on a permanent basis.

Our client provides the flexibility for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Guildford office 3 days per week.

The leading Practice specialise in a range of sectors, including, Retail, Residential, Education and Commercial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake research and data collection
• Present results to clients
• Able to use technical skills and knowledge on a wide range of building structures
• Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures
• Awareness of and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work and the project BIM Execution plan
• Assist with the development of junior staff

Key Requirements:

• Working towards or achieved Chartership status
• Proven experience in the design of structures using the conventional engineering materials
• A degree in Structural Engineering
• Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis and Revit experience is desirable but not essential)
• Willingness and flexibility to learn new software
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to make decisions, act on your own initiative and operate in a pro-active way
