RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure maximisation of the potential of offerings available using current and future services offered by the team in relation to Computational Fluid Dynamics to support and develop the company's delivery of sustainable and environmentally conscious buildings and associated facilities.
Monitor and control project progress, design variations and project financial budgets.
Maintain professional competency, knowledge and understanding of delivering CFD services.
Continually review and progress, where appropriate, computational techniques to analyse and/or illustrate other disciplinary work, for example: artificial Lighting design, vertical transportation, visual static and animated illustrations, specialist groups. Including the opportunities of software / computational techniques that exist between different discipline packages and CAD or Revit
Support the EMEA director in the development of bid proposals.
Responsible for managing and reporting of project financial information
Carry out staff Personal Development Plans in accordance with the Personal Development Plans Procedures. Report any staff performance problems to Divisional Director/group Director and agree corrective action. Identify and implement all training / CPD requirements of staff within their group.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
An Engineering / Energy / Physics / Mathematics / Building Services related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in a relevant subject and desirable to have a CFD / Engineering / Physics / Mathematics / Energy related Master's degree, or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Membership of and working towards Practitioner / Chartered (or equivalent) member of an appropriate industry association e.g. IMechE / IoP / IMA.
