We are looking for a talented MEP Coordination Manager to join an M&E specialist subcontractor client of ours. This is an opportunity to work on a 6-month contract basis, outside IR35, splitting time between the London office and on site. This would be supporting the delivery of a high-profile commercial project at stage 5.
-Competitive day rate ranging from £400-£420 (subject to experience).
Responsibilities:
-Direct and manage professional design and delivery teams, across a range of disciplines, supporting project delivery from concept to completion.
-Produce, maintain, and analyse key documentation, specifications, reports, schedules, models, and drawings, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date.
-Provide support through the construction stage, and conduct regular site visits, reviews, and inspections, allowing for alignment with design intent to be ensured.
-Ensure site operations comply with key industry regulations, standards, and legislation, whilst also nurturing best practices, quality assurance, and health & safety.
-Offer ongoing support to design teams, through the provision of constructive feedback and performance reviews, ensuring high quality project delivery.
-Play a key role in representing the business across project meetings, performance workshops, and design reviews, whilst assisting with planning, bids, and proposals.
Requirements:
-Extensive demonstrable experience as a MEP Coordination Manager, or a relevant position, managing design teams across a high-profile commercial project.
-Significant understanding of relevant software tools and resources, such as Revit, Navisworks, and ACC, with an understanding of current BIM standards.
-Profound acknowledgement of current industry standards, regulations, and legislation.
-Effective communication, mentorship, and leadership skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
-Strong attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities, whilst maintaining a problem-solving mindset.
