This role will involve a varied mix of geotechnical design and analysis work, supporting below-ground structures, directional drilling schemes and foundation design across water and rail environments.
The position is ideal for someone who enjoys technically challenging project work within infrastructure-led engineering sectors and is confident working across multiple disciplines and project stages.
The Role
You’ll be involved in:
- Producing geotechnical design solutions across infrastructure projects
- Supporting designs for shafts and below-ground water storage structures
- Delivering directional drilling design support
- Analysing ground investigation data and geotechnical reports
- Supporting shallow and piled foundation design
- Working across water and rail infrastructure environments
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
What They’re Looking For
- Experience as a Geotechnical Engineer within infrastructure or consultancy environments
- Strong understanding of geotechnical analysis and foundation design
- Experience working on infrastructure or utility projects
- Knowledge of shallow and piled foundation systems
- Good technical reporting and coordination capability
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced project environment
Experience within:
- Water industry projects
- Rail infrastructure
- Below-ground structures
- Directional drilling schemes
would be highly beneficial.
