Blueprint Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Estimators to work on large scale Water sector projects and part of our clients Multi-million pound framework agreements across the UK. These roles can be regionally based working on local and regional projects including Brighton, London, Peterborough, Derby, Preston, Warrington and Glasgow.
We are interested in speaking to Mechanical, Electrical & Civil Bias Estimators, looking on both a Permanent Staff and/or contract basis.
The successful candidate will have:
Several years’ experience in computerized analytical estimating systems.
Planning capability to prepare Tender Programs.
Design and construction experience.
Understand the Conditions of Contract and Specifications used in the water industry.
Knowledge of the processes, equipment and services that are used in the water industry.
Understand Partnering and Framework arrangements
You will be reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, your responsibilities will be:
Preparation of analytical estimates for Engineering works, that are technically accurate and with an acceptable risk level, from outline drawings and specifications.
Contribute to the preparation of Tender Preparation and Tender Construction programmes.
Participate in the design development to assess buildability, materials, innovation and cost effectiveness of proposals.
Ensure procedures, including risk and governance processes, are followed, documented and correct authorisations are in place.
Provide high level pricing information early in the Tender for optioneering and budgeting exercises to ensure the most cost-effective solution offered.
