Attention all Electrical Design Engineers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an international engineering design consultancy, in a contract role outside IR35. You will be required to work from our client’s office 5 days a week in London, with occasional visits to site. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting UK and UAE aviation projects.

-Competitive hourly rate ranging from £35-£45 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

-Designing electrical systems to meet project needs and standards.

-Support engineering design from concept to detailed specifications and conduct site surveys.

-Contribute to innovation, develop digital skills, and stay updated on emerging technologies.

-Engage in community initiatives (e.g., STEM outreach) and uphold industry standards through their management system.

-Build project management, procurement, and financial awareness while actively maintaining CPD.

What we are looking for:

-A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

-Must have detailed design background with aviation experience within the last 5 years.

-Strong understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design across all project stages.

-Previous experience within a consultancy.

-Working towards or achieved Chartered Engineer status.

-Confident communicator with the ability to be client and project team facing.
