SENIOR ESTIMATOR

London | Contract
£400 - £500 per Day

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a leading engineering firm, on a 6-month contract basis, outside IR35. Within this role, you will be required to work on-site from our client’s office, located near London. As the successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in the development of large-scale Water Infrastructure projects. -Competitive day rate of £600-£620 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Lead the development of accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for high-profile Water Infrastructure projects. -Assess design documentation to define project scope, identify risks, and establish key assumptions -Work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to validate estimates and align costs with project objectives -Create and maintain standardised estimating tools, templates, and benchmarks to ensure accuracy and consistency -Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals, negotiate terms, and support procurement planning -Track estimate performance, conduct post-contract reviews, and drive continuous improvement in estimating processes Requirements: -Extensive experience as a Senior Estimator, or a similar role, with a proficiency within MEICA estimation within high-profile Water Infrastructure projects. -Strong understanding of CDM regulations and policies, health and safety legislations, and industry best practices. -Solid analytical abilities, with strong commercial awareness and understanding. -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with clients and stakeholders. -Strong ability within the use of estimation digital and software tools. -Must be able to manage concurrent projects, managing ongoing priorities, whilst meeting limited deadlines. -Willing to travel to project sites when needed. CDM CO ORDINATOR

Nationwide | Contract
£600 - £620 per Day

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced CDM Co-ordinator to join a leading construction and infrastructure company, on a 7-month contract basis. Within this role, you will be required to work on a remote basis, attending one of our client’s regional offices, nationwide, 1 day a week. As the successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to act as ‘Principal Design Representative – Delivery’, within a large-scale National Grid project. -Competitive day rate of £600-£620 (depending on experience). -Remote working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Act as the client’s and principal designer’s lead by ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are transparent, clear, and being followed accurately. -Conduct and attend Principal Designer meetings and Pre-Construction Information (PCI) reviews. -Manage and oversee the design works throughout the project’s lifespan, ensuring that the workforce all comply with health and safety procedures effectively. -Collaborate with the Principal Contractor to share and discuss information centred around the planning, monitoring, and management of the construction stage. -Direct and oversee Hazard Review Meetings (HRMs), whilst maintaining concise up-to-date records and documentation within the project hazard register. CAD TECHNICIAN

£40,000 - £55,000 per Annum

We have an exciting new opportunity, here at Blueprint Recruitment, for a skilled CAD Technician to join a leading engineering firm, in a permanent position. Within this position, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working across the country. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex Water and Wastewater projects, leading and managing our client’s design team. -Competitive salary ranging from £40,000-£55,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the production and delivery of 3D model designs and BIM systems for a variety of water and wastewater treatment projects. -Introduce and maintain BIM workflows, strategies, and standards to allow for the project to follow high quality and consistency throughout. -Guide and mentor the design team, consisting of CAD and BIM technicians, providing ongoing training and support. -Collaborate with numerous professionals, ranging in disciplines, to allow for an effective integration of design specifications, whilst conducting clash detection tests. -Review models and designs, providing feedback and guidance, to allow for quality, health and safety, specification alignment, and compliance to be maintained. -Keep up-to-date records and documentation of all projects works and promote development across BIM deliverables. SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

Within this role, you will be expected to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office, located near London. The chosen applicant will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Data Centre projects, with a large focus on Drainage. -Competitive hourly pay of £40-£45 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee a variety of Data Centre design projects, from initial stages through to design, with a focus on drainage. -Ensure that all design maintain compliance with current UK regulations and policies, standards, and client needs, focusing on risk analysis and sustainability criteria. -Collaborate with teams, varying in specialities, identifying and finding solutions for design concerns and challenges. -Create and review detailed drawings, reports, and specifications, allowing for continuous accuracy, quality, and consistency. -Provide continuous guidance for junior technicians and engineers, maintaining staff and project development, ensuring quality throughout project lifespans. -Build and maintain rapport with clients and stakeholders, allowing for coordination with tendering, project management, value engineering, and budgeting. ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN

Within this role, you will be required to work on-site from our client’s London office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex Defence projects, as a part of a skilled and motivated team. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £40-£45 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce concise architectural drawings, elevations, sections, and specifications using BIM or CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit. -Work with multidisciplinary teams to identify and find solutions for any design and constructability concerns and challenges. -Develop designs with a focus on material specification, integration of building systems, and full compliance with current building policies and regulations. -Create and survey project specifications, documentation, and schedules. -Conduct site visits to allow for project inspection and monitoring whilst ensuring that all construction follows the design specifications. -Ensure project quality by inspecting drawing packages, resolving concerns, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of all works taking place.
