Our client is looking to bring on a seasoned Risk Manager, on a permanent basis, to operate within their engineering organisation. This role will consist of an on-site working arrangement, where in which the chosen professional will work from one of our client’s offices in Derby or Enfield. This opportunity holds the ability to work on developing and delivering a range of non-infrastructure projects, ensuring quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee coordinated risk assessment, identification, and prioritisation, within a variety of non-infrastructure projects, ensuring requirements and objectives are met.

-Observe risk exposure, early warning signs, and trigger points to allow for effective and proactive resolution and escalation, concise cost profiling, and budget reductions.  

-Liaise with project teams to develop effective and functional mitigation plans, allowing for risks to remain within a manageable threshold.

-Establish accurate risk reports, enabling transparency within internal exchanges, timely senior leadership resolutions, and the ability to make informed decisions.

-Carry out quantitative risk assessments across cost, schedule, and integrated project elements, with the use of resources such as Safran, @Risk, PRA, and other platforms.

-Offer technical insights, backed up by data, support ongoing risk process improvements, and ensure traceability, with the use of risk and reporting tools.

Requirements:

-Profound experience as a Risk Manager, or a relevant position, delivering efficient risk management solutions for a range of complex projects and systems.

-Strong leadership skills, with the ability to host productive risk analysis workshops, allowing for informed decisions to be established by stakeholders.

-Significant abilities within mitigation strategy production and a great understanding of risk assessment practices, both quantitative and qualitative.

-Profound proficiency within relevant software tools, centred around risk management and data visualisation.

-Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement and management skills, with a drive for ongoing development and business progression.
