Attention all Commissioning Managers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a specialist building services consultancy, in a contract role outside IR35. You will be required to work full time across various sites in Central London.

As the successful candidate you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects including residential, data centres, commercial and mixed-use.

-Competitive day rate of £500 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead electrical commissioning for systems like BMS, HVAC, and process equipment.

-Manage documentation, testing, and issue resolution throughout the commissioning process.

-Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to deliver work packages safely, on time, and in line with project requirements.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

-Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering, Controls, or related discipline (or equivalent experience/training).

-Commissioning Experience: Proven electrical commissioning background (e.g. BMS, ventilation) with leadership on complex projects.

-Technical & Team Skills: Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, with solid technical, organisational, and communication skills.

-Industry Background: Experience working in the building services sector and in multi-disciplinary teams, managing key stakeholders.

Desirable:

-Project management skills.

-Experience in electrical and control system design, including LV distribution, BMS, earthing, and safety standards (IEC 61508/11/13).
