Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a well-established design, engineering, and environment consultancy, on a contract basis. For this role, you will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office, located near Manchester, where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of water treatment projects, including the United Utilities AMP8 projects.
-Competitive hourly rate ranging from £40-£45 (depending on experience).
-Hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and oversee the project from conception through to completion.
-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure objectives, timelines and budgets are met.
-Monitor design progress, engineering activities, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
-Assist in developing and reviewing project plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
-Engage with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain communication and alignment throughout the delivery process.
-Support the identification and resolution of engineering and design-related issues.
-A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
-Proficient in the use of software tools such as SCADA, PLC, and Telementry.
-Proven experience in delivering complex engineering projects within the water treatment sector.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
-Relevant professional certifications or working towards chartered status (e.g., ICE, IMechE, CIOB) would be advantageous.
