Join a leading construction consultancy, where your skills and experience as an Architectural Technician will help change the future of the Built Environment. With this opportunity, you will be working on a contract basis, outside IR35, where you will be working remotely, with an occasional on-site presence at our client’s London office.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex Building projects, as a part of a skilled and motivated team.

-Competitive hourly rate of £35 (depending on experience).

-Remote working arrangements (occasional office presence).

Responsibilities:

-Create accurate architectural drawings, elevations, sections, and specifications using BIM or CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.

-Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to identify and find solutions for any design and constructability concerns and challenges.

-Develop detailed designs, focusing on material specification, integration of building systems, and full compliance with current building policies and regulations.

-Ensure project quality by inspecting drawing packages, resolving concerns, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of all works taking place.

-Produce and review project documentation, specifications, and schedules.

-Conduct site visits to allow for project inspection and monitoring whilst ensuring that all construction follows the design specifications.

Requirements:

-Qualified in architectural technology and/or building engineering, or a similar discipline, and must have security clearance.

-Extensive experience as an Architectural Technician, Interior Designer, or in a related role, in a variety of projects.

-Solid understanding of current building regulations, material systems, and construction detailing.

-Strong proficiency with the use of software tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD.

-Excellent communicator with strong coordination skills, and an ability to adapt effectively across a variety of disciplines.

-A strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, with a willingness to strive towards continuous development and excellence, is ideal.
