Are you a skilled Revit Technician and ready for the next step in your career?
Our client, a leading civil engineering organisation, are on the hunt for an experienced individual to join their ranks, on a contract basis, outside IR35. This role will require you to work on a remote basis, in which all works completed will be centred around our client’s Newcastle office. This invaluable opportunity is offering you the chance to be actively involved in the development of several Data Centre projects.
-Competitive hourly rate of £33-£38 (depending on experience).
-Remote working arrangements.
Responsibilities:
-Produce, develop and maintain in-depth Revit 3D models, with an inclusion of setting up and maintaining families, schedules, sheets, views, and annotations.
-Collaborate with multidisciplinary professional teams to ensure models all align with the agreed requirements, resolve issues, and maintain model integrity.
-Create concise drawings, elevations, sections, and specifications, at a high standard, with the use of Revit models, maintaining compliance with project plans.
-Support the implementation of BIM standards, quality assurance procedures, and all workflows, whilst guaranteeing compliance with client and company BIM principles.
-Assist with the design and documentation stages, supporting the internal teams, by working on visualisations, revisions, as-built updates and mark-ups.
Requirements:
-Extensive experience as a Revit Technician, preferably with an understanding of Civil and Structural systems, with Data Centre project experience.
-Strong Revit, ACC, and BIM360 experience and skill, with the knowledge of model production, view setup, family management, annotation, and scheduling.
-Solid understanding of BIM systems and processes, with a focus on clash detection, version control, and model verification.
-Effective communicator, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
-Proficient attention to detail, with strong organisational skills, and an ability to manage time, and prioritise workload, effectively.
