We are looking for a skilled Associate Civil Engineer to bring their technical expertise and knowledge to a forward-thinking organisation. Our client, a structural and civil engineering firm, is offering a permanent position for an experienced individual, who will work on a hybrid basis from their office in London. Take your career to the next level with this opportunity to work on a variety of Drainage and Highway projects, being an active part in the future of infrastructure.

-Competitive salary ranging from £55,000-£70,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Manage a variety of drainage and highway projects, from start to finish, by producing technical designs, reports and documents, whilst overseeing implementation.

-Conduct site inspections, involving looking to project risks, materials, and costs, whilst also producing solutions to issues and challenges.

-Put together cost proposals and support business progression to increase civil engineering services and clients.

-Collaborate with clients and other professionals to ensure the project is meeting client satisfaction and following requirements.

-Work with junior engineers to expand their knowledge and to ensure the project is at a high standard and meeting cost, time, and design goals.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a similar field, and working towards, or at, a chartered status, ideally working with drainage and highways.

-Extensive experience working within a civil and structural engineering firm, with a focus on design, site work, risk assessment, and cost estimation.

-Solid grasp of current engineering standards and policies, drainage, planning, and any relevant infrastructure work.

-Must have a strong technical background, with experience of liaising with clients, and working on business development.

-Leadership skills with the ability to manage a variety of teams, projects, and budgets, whilst maintaining rapport with clients.
