Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a skilled individual to join their firm, on a permanent basis, working on-site from their London office, but our client may consider a hybrid working arrangement. Within this opportunity, the successful candidate will be working on a variety of Residential, Industrial, and Data Centre projects.

-Competitive salary ranging from £45,000-£60,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Manage and oversee structural engineering design activities for a variety of Residential, Industrial, and Data Centre projects, from concept to completion.

-Lead project teams, focusing on task delegation, work and activity reviews, and guiding and supporting junior engineers towards professional development.

-Collaborate with architects, internal stakeholders, contractors, and clients to propose structural solutions, enhancing project efficiency.

-Produce and analyse structural drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations, throughout all project stages.

-Observe project deliverables, budgets, and programme milestones to identify potential risks and concerns early, allowing for appropriate escalation.

-Support business development through client presentations, proposal preparation, and ensuring brilliance through new advancements within structural engineering.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, with a chartered status, or actively working towards achieving one.

-6+ years of experience managing teams and producing works for a variety of Residential, Industrial, and Data Centre projects.

-Solid technical understanding of structural materials, such as steel, masonry, concrete, and timber, as well as relevant design codes and construction strategies.

-Strong understanding of relevant software tools, such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar

-Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an ability to manage projects within a limited deadline and budget.
