Are you an experienced Civil Engineer and ready for a change?
We are seeking a talented individual to join our client’s civil and structural engineering consultancy, on a permanent basis. As the successful applicant, you will be working three days a week, on a hybrid basis, from our client’s main office in London, whereby you will be working on a variety of Leisure, Retail, Education, Industrial, and Healthcare projects. This opportunity will allow you to enhance your skillset and talents whilst developing the world around you.
-Competitive salary ranging from £35,000-£45,000 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities:
-Design and develop in-depth drainage systems, documentation, and calculations for multidisciplinary projects, ensuring full compliance with current industry standards.
-Liaise with multidisciplinary design professionals, clients, statutory bodies, and contractors to ensure accurate design and delivery implementation.
-Assemble accurate documentation, reports, and drawings, whilst inspecting works to ensure project specifications and requirements are being followed.
-Conduct site visits and meetings to oversee all site operations ensuring full design intent integration, whilst also identifying and resolving potential risks and issues.
-Promote and support continuous professional progression by keeping up to date with any technical advantages and through mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
-Support with fee proposal preparation, scope definition, and bid documentation, when required, reinforcing business development.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
-4+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer working on Industrial, Education, Retail, Healthcare, and Leisure projects, ideally working with drainage systems.
-Strong understanding of drainage system design, with a proficiency with MicroDrainage and/or Flow, and Civil3D for cut and fill, level, and ground modelling design.
-Profound time management abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset, with an ability to ensure project’s follow strict budget, quality, and time standards.
-Effective communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain rapport with clients, stakeholders, and other project professionals.
