Our client is looking for a seasoned Technical Director to join their leading design and build contractor organisation, in a permanent position. This opportunity allows for a flexible working arrangement, with the occasional office presence from both our client’s offices located in York and High Wycombe. This unmissable opportunity will allow you to enhance your professional portfolio across a variety of multidisciplinary projects.
-Competitive salary ranging from £75,000-£100,000 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities:
-Direct all business operations, outlining strategy and roadmap capabilities, whilst prioritising tool, talent, and system investment.
-Manage and oversee multidisciplinary teams, across a range of project areas, ensuring ongoing quality, cost, safety, and scheduling standards.
-Promote continual innovation and progression through emerging modular system, technology, and system optimisation evaluation, ensuring business individuality.
-Coordinate with service, operation, commercial, and project management teams allowing for smooth project delivery, from concept through to completion.
-Govern technical compliance, ensuring all practices are following key standards, regulations and procedures, whilst maintaining risk management and documentation.
-Embody the senior technical ambassador role by acting as the business representative and conducting client meetings and overseeing technical due diligence.
Requirements:
-Profound demonstratable experience as a Technical Director, or a related role, within a similar contractor field, specialising in engineering and construction.
-Significant experience with managing professional teams, across a variety of disciplines, through projects, ensuring performance quality and development.
-Strong understanding of design, installation, build, commissioning, and maintenance practices across a range of systems, with the ability to promote technical strategy.
-Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect and liaise with multidisciplinary professionals.
-Proficiency in nurturing growth and development, establishing and developing scalable processes, and ensuring continuous improvement.
-Can deliver technical excellence within business performance, cost efficiency, innovation balance, and project compliance.
