-Competitive hourly rate ranging from £50-£57 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:
-Support with the management, planning, and coordination of civil engineering projects, across all stages, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget alignment.
-Assist the Engineering Manager with leading and guiding a team of engineers, technical staff, and designers, ensuring smooth project delivery and professional development.
-Ensure all project documentation remains up to date, whilst also ensuring that all works follow health and safety regulations, internal systems
-Work closely with contractors, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring effective risk management, technical assurance, and alignment with design principles.
-Oversee the production and development of assurance documentation, technical reports, and design deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
-Nurture ongoing development and progression within engineering processes, risk management, quality assurance, and design standards.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with a chartered engineer status, or actively working towards attaining one.
-Profound experience as an Assistant Engineering Manager, or a related role, with an understanding of civil engineering systems and the delivery of complex projects.
-Demonstrable experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers, and other project teams, ensuring project and professional development and progression.
-Strong communication and leadership skills, with an ability to build and maintain rapport with professionals, contractors, clients, and key stakeholders.
-Significant organisational skills, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
