Our client, a major engineering consultancy, is looking to bring on an experienced BIM Technician, on a permanent basis, to support their operations. This organisation offers the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis from either their Glasgow or Edinburgh offices. This would be an invaluable opportunity to expand your expertise across a variety of complex Education, Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare projects.

-Competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £35,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Create and develop accurate MEP, models, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout all designs, with the use of Autodesk Revit.

-Use a range of automation tools and other software resources to ensure efficient workflows, such as Dynamo, BIM 360, and ACC.

-Liaise with project professionals, across a range of disciplines, ensuring smooth project delivery.

-Oversee and verify external model creation, whilst ensuring design and document changes are being implemented accurately.

Requirements:

-Extensive experience within a BIM Technician role, or similar, working on Revit MEP projects, across a range of sectors, such as Education, Residential, and Healthcare.

-Strong proficiency with the creation and development of MEP models and designs, whilst also understanding CDE workflows, clash detection, and automation tools.

-Significant understanding of relevant software tools, such as Dynamo, BIM 360, AutoCAD, Solibri, and Microsoft office.

-Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, principles, and regulations, along with the BS EN ISO 19650 suite of standards.

-Effective communication and collaboration skills, whilst also being able to work independently, with a proactive mindset, and a willingness to improve processes.
