There is an amazing opportunity on offer for a talented Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading building services and sustainability consultancy, in a permanent position. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, where in which a range of Data Centre projects will be delivered, from their main London office. -Competitive salary of £50,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Oversee the production and development of detailed electrical system designs, across a range of Data Centre projects, from concept through to completion.

-Work alongside project professionals, clients, and other external parties to establish detailed project plans, ensuring efficiency throughout.

-Establish and maintain project documentation, reports, calculations, specifications, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.

-Ensure all works align with current industry standards, regulations, legislation, and industry best practice.

-Mentor, guide, and support junior engineers, and team members, offering constructive feedback, nurturing continuous professional development and progression.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, with a chartered engineer status, or actively working towards attaining one.

-Profound experience within a Senior Electrical Design Engineer position, or a similar role.

-Prior experience working on complex Data Centre projects.

-Significant knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, best practices, codes, and key legislation, with an ongoing commitment to sustainability.

-Strong understanding of relevant software tools, including Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Dialux and Relux.

-Sound communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
