Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to join a specialist team delivering works on a secure MOD site in Aldermaston.

This role will take full responsibility for leading electrical testing and commissioning activities on site, working alongside the Project Lead and other specialist team members. The position requires a strong commissioning background and the ability to manage electrical commissioning processes within a highly regulated environment.

This is a full-time, site-based role (5 days per week).

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead electrical testing and commissioning activities on site

·         Manage commissioning programmes in line with project timelines

·         Coordinate with project leadership and specialist team members

·         Oversee electrical installation verification and compliance

·         Ensure commissioning documentation is complete and compliant

·         Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders

·         Ensure all works meet MOD and project-specific standards

·         Maintain strict adherence to health, safety and security procedures

Requirements

·         Proven experience as an Electrical Commissioning Manager

·         Strong background in electrical testing and commissioning within Building Services

·         Experience working on secure or MOD projects (desirable)

·         Ability to lead commissioning activities independently on site

·         CSCS card (essential)

·         Ability to obtain and pass BPSS clearance

·         Strong organisational and communication skills
