Overview

An opportunity is available for one or two Structural Engineers to join a London-based consultancy on a 3-month contract.

This Outside IR35 role will focus primarily on refurbishment projects, offering the chance to contribute to technically engaging schemes within a fast-paced design environment. The team is open to candidates from a variety of structural backgrounds, provided they have strong core design capability.

Hybrid working is available, with three days per week in the London office.

Key Responsibilities

·         Deliver structural analysis and design for refurbishment projects

·         Produce calculations and technical documentation

·         Work collaboratively with architects and multidisciplinary teams

·         Review and adapt existing structures within live or redevelopment environments

·         Ensure compliance with UK structural design standards

·         Support project delivery to programme deadlines

Project Focus

·         Building refurbishment schemes

·         Adaptation and redevelopment projects

·         Commercial and mixed-use structures

Technical Requirements

Experience with one or more of the following:

·         Tekla

·         Tedds

·         Master Series

·         Robot

·         Equivalent structural analysis software

Candidate Profile

·         Proven experience as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment

·         Strong technical design and analysis capability

·         Comfortable working on refurbishment projects

·         Able to attend the London office 3 days per week

·         Available for an immediate or short notice start
