Mechanical Design Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer– London – £45k–£55k

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for Mechanical Design Engineers and Electrical Design Engineers to join a well-established building services consultancy in a permanent position based in Marylebone.

This is an excellent opportunity for Senior or Intermediate level engineers to join a growing team and work on a varied portfolio of industrial and residential building services projects across London.

·         Competitive salary ranging from £45,000–£55,000 (depending on experience).

·         Permanent role within a growing consultancy.

·         London office location, ideally 5 days per week in the office, with hybrid flexibility for exceptional candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Deliver mechanical or electrical design for building services projects.

·         Produce technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.

·         Work on projects across industrial units and residential developments.

·         Liaise with clients, utilities providers, and multidisciplinary project teams.

·         Support project delivery to meet programme, technical, and regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for:

·         Experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Electrical Design Engineer within building services / MEP.

·         Experience delivering building services design projects.

·         Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems within buildings.

·         Good communication skills and ability to work with clients and project teams.

Desirable:

·         Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.

·         Experience working on industrial or residential developments.

·         Working towards Chartership (CIBSE, IET, IMechE or similar).
