Attention all Electrical Design Engineers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established building services consultancy in a 6-month contract position. This role is based in Princes Risborough, with flexible remote working available, although you must be able to attend the office when required.

This is a great opportunity to work on residential projects, contributing to stages 3–5 design and working closely with both clients and internal teams.

·         Competitive hourly rate ranging from £40–45.

·         6-month contract with potential extension.

·         Flexible working with occasional office visits.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Deliver electrical design for residential building services projects.

·         Develop designs across RIBA stages 3–5.

·         Produce technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.

·         Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams.

·         Support project delivery to programme and quality standards.

What we are looking for:

·         Previous experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer within building services / MEP.

·         Experience delivering electrical design across RIBA stages 3–5.

·         Strong understanding of building services design principles.

·         Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

Desirable:

·         Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

·         Experience working on residential projects.

·         Working towards Chartership (IET or similar).
