Architectural Technician – Stage 4–5 / Revit / Residential (Contract)

Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 Days in Office)
Job Type: Contract – Initial 3 Months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician to support the delivery of a residential development in London, moving from RIBA Stage 4 into Stage 5.

This role offers a strong focus on technical drawing production and detailed package delivery, working within a busy team to support a live project entering construction phase.

The successful Architectural Technician will play a key role in producing high-volume 2D drawing packages, alongside some 3D Revit modelling, contributing to the delivery of a large-scale residential scheme.


Key Responsibilities

As an Architectural Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing detailed 2D technical drawing packages (high-volume output)
  • Supporting delivery across RIBA Stage 4–5 (technical & construction stages)
  • Working on residential development projects
  • Producing drawings for flooring layouts, wall finishes and internal packages
  • Supporting Revit modelling and BIM workflows
  • Collaborating with architects and project teams
  • Ensuring drawings meet project specifications and technical standards
  • Supporting delivery within programme deadlines

Requirements

To be considered for this Architectural Technician role, candidates should have:

  • Proven experience working as an Architectural Technician
  • Strong experience delivering Stage 4 and/or Stage 5 projects
  • Experience working on residential developments
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (2D & 3D)
  • Experience producing detailed technical drawing packages
  • Ability to manage high-volume drawing output efficiently
  • Good communication and coordination skills

Contract Details

  • Initial 3-month contract (potential for extension)
  • Exempt from IR35
  • Hybrid working – ideally 3 days in London office (flexible to 2)
  • 37.5 hours per week
