This role will focus on technically detailed substation and piled raft structure projects, supporting design delivery across complex engineering schemes within a flexible contract environment.

The position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking for an Outside IR35 opportunity with the flexibility to work remotely while supporting long-term infrastructure workloads.

The Role

You’ll be involved in:

• Delivering structural design across substation and infrastructure projects
• Supporting piled raft foundation and structural package delivery
• Producing calculations, reports and technical design information
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Supporting project delivery through technical stages
• Assisting with structural analysis and technical coordination activities

What They’re Looking For

• Experience as a Structural Engineer within UK consultancy environments
• Strong structural design capability
• Experience supporting infrastructure or heavy engineering projects
• Knowledge of piled raft or foundation structures
• Strong technical coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a contract environment

Substation or power sector experience would be highly beneficial.
