This role is ideal for someone with a background in environmental consultancy, water, infrastructure or related sectors who enjoys technically varied project work combining design, GIS and site-based activities.

The position offers a flexible hybrid setup alongside varied project exposure across environmental and water-focused schemes, with regular site visits fully expensed.

The Role

You’ll be involved in:

• Supporting environmental and consultancy project delivery
• Assisting with GIS, CAD and technical design activities
• Supporting environmental assessments and project coordination
• Undertaking occasional site visits and inspections
• Working alongside multidisciplinary environmental and water teams
• Assisting with technical reporting and project documentation
• Supporting delivery across a varied environmental project portfolio

What They’re Looking For

• Experience within environmental consultancy, infrastructure or water sectors
• Familiarity with GIS and/or CAD software
• Good technical coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a hybrid environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving capability

A water-sector background would be highly beneficial, although candidates from transferable sectors looking to move into water will also be considered.

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence
