Between:£65,000 and £80,000 per Year (Subject To Experience)

This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer or design leader who enjoys coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships and driving the successful delivery of complex infrastructure schemes from concept through to construction.

You'll play a key role in shaping the design and delivery of major water projects, valued up to £200m.


The Role

You'll be involved in:

  • Leading multidisciplinary design teams across major water infrastructure projects
  • Coordinating civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineering disciplines
  • Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles
  • Guiding projects through outline, detailed and construction design stages
  • Supporting the development of technically compliant and buildable solutions
  • Providing technical direction and leadership across project teams
  • Coordinating design activities with delivery and construction partners
  • Mentoring engineers, consultants and technicians across multiple disciplines

Projects include:

  • Clean water treatment facilities
  • Wastewater treatment works
  • Water networks
  • Stormwater management schemes
  • Combined sewer overflow programmes
  • Major capital delivery projects

What They're Looking For

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary design coordination on major infrastructure projects
  • Strong background within the water sector
  • Chartered Engineer status (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Water Engineering)
  • Experience managing stakeholder and client relationships
  • Strong understanding of design and build project environments
  • Ability to lead technical teams through complex project delivery stages
  • Excellent communication, leadership and coordination skills

Experience across:

  • Clean water treatment
  • Wastewater treatment
  • Water networks
  • Stormwater infrastructure
  • Design & Build delivery would be highly beneficial.
