This role is ideal for someone with a strong building services, mechanical or electrical project background who enjoys driving programme performance, working closely with operational teams and providing strategic planning support across complex construction projects.

You'll be joining a high-profile project team delivering a major defence-sector scheme, with a clear progression pathway towards Planning Manager level in the future.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

• Developing and managing project programmes using Primavera P6
• Monitoring project progress and programme performance
• Supporting project teams with planning, forecasting and reporting activities
• Working closely with operational and delivery teams to identify risks and opportunities
• Producing programme updates, reports and planning documentation
• Supporting project controls and schedule management processes
• Coordinating planning activities across multidisciplinary MEP delivery teams
• Providing planning support throughout the project lifecycle

The role will involve regular collaboration with both project leadership and regional planning management teams.

What They're Looking For

• Experience as a Planning Engineer or Senior Planning Engineer
• Strong background within MEP, mechanical, electrical or building services projects
• Advanced Primavera P6 capability
• Experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong programme management and reporting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both operational and commercial teams

Essential:

• Eligible for SC Clearance
• British Single National
• Lived and worked in the UK continuously for the last 5 years

Experience within defence, secure-sector or MOD projects would be highly beneficial.
