An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a growing structural engineering consultancy delivering a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial, education and refurbishment projects across London and the Southeast.

This Senior Structural Engineer role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of hands-on structural design, project leadership and client interaction. You'll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, working closely with architects, developers and contractors to deliver practical and innovative engineering solutions.

The successful Senior Structural Engineer will play a key role within a collaborative team, contributing both technically and commercially while helping to drive project delivery across a varied workload.

The Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll be involved in:

• Delivering structural designs across residential, commercial, industrial, education and refurbishment projects
• Producing structural calculations, reports and technical specifications
• Managing projects from initial concept through to construction
• Liaising directly with clients, architects and project stakeholders
• Undertaking structural assessments of existing buildings
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where required
• Attending site visits, design meetings and project reviews
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget

What They're Looking For

• Experience working as a Senior Structural Engineer within a UK consultancy environment
• Strong building structures design experience
• Background delivering residential, commercial, industrial, education or refurbishment projects
• Experience managing projects and client relationships
• Good understanding of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures
• Strong communication and technical reporting skills
• Ability to balance design responsibilities with project management duties
