An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer to support the delivery of major infrastructure and development projects across the UK.

This Civil Engineer role is ideal for someone with a strong drainage design background who enjoys developing practical engineering solutions, delivering SuDS strategies and supporting multidisciplinary project teams through complex project lifecycles.

The successful Civil Engineer will join a busy infrastructure team working on a range of drainage-focused projects, contributing technical expertise across design and project delivery activities.


The Role

As a Civil Engineer, you'll be involved in:

  • Delivering drainage and civil engineering designs across infrastructure projects
  • Producing SuDS strategies and drainage assessments
  • Developing detailed drainage models and design solutions
  • Using InfoDrainage to undertake hydraulic modelling and analysis
  • Preparing technical reports, calculations and design documentation
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Supporting project delivery through design and technical review stages
  • Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and industry guidance

This Civil Engineer position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and development schemes.


What They're Looking For

  • Experience working as a Civil Engineer within a consultancy or contractor environment
  • Strong drainage design experience
  • Proficiency with InfoDrainage
  • Experience delivering SuDS and surface water management solutions
  • Good understanding of UK drainage standards and approval processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Experience across infrastructure, highways, development or major project environments would be highly advantageous.
