Leeds | £700–£800 per day | CIS Umbrella | 6-Month Contract

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of National Grid substation projects, managing multidisciplinary teams across complex Design & Build environments.

This role needs someone who understands the realities of substation delivery, with strong knowledge of National Grid requirements, NEC contracts and the commercial management of major power infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing

• Leading National Grid substation project delivery
• Managing cross-functional Design & Build teams
• Overseeing programme, budgets, risk and commercial performance
• Managing client, supplier and project stakeholder relationships
• Working within NEC contract requirements
• Ensuring delivery meets relevant safety and regulatory standards

What we're looking for

• Proven National Grid substation build experience
• Working knowledge of National Grid Safety Rules and EPC / M&E frameworks
• Strong Design & Build project leadership experience
• Good commercial knowledge of NEC contracts
• Experience managing project budgets, risk and opportunity
• Knowledge of HSWA, CDM and EAWR
• Construction / Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Full UK driving licence

The opportunity

£700–£800 per day, Inside IR35, on an initial 6-month contract, taking responsibility for the delivery of major National Grid power infrastructure.
