We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a Building Services team in London, working in a specialist design verification and quality assurance role.

The position will focus on reviewing and developing Stage 4A Electrical Building Services designs, ensuring consultancy designs are technically accurate, practical and suitable for delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer with strong detailed design experience who also understands the practical delivery of MEP and Building Services projects.

The role

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for reviewing, verifying and developing electrical designs through the detailed design stages.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and verifying Stage 4A electrical designs
• Developing detailed Electrical Building Services design solutions
• Carrying out technical design reviews and quality assurance
• Identifying design issues, omissions and areas for improvement
• Ensuring designs are practical and suitable for project delivery
• Resolving technical queries with design and project teams
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality electrical design information

What we're looking for

• Strong Electrical Building Services design experience
• Proven detailed electrical design experience
• Experience working at Stage 4 / detailed design
• Practical understanding of MEP and Building Services delivery
• Strong technical review and design verification skills
• Good understanding of electrical design standards and requirements
• Consultancy, contractor or MEP engineering experience

The opportunity

This permanent Electrical Design Engineer position offers a salary of £65,000 to £75,000, depending on experience, alongside hybrid working in London.

The role offers the opportunity to develop your experience beyond traditional electrical design, with a particular focus on design verification, technical quality and Stage 4A design development.
