Blueprint Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an
Associate Mechanical Engineer to join a reputable environmental design
consultancy, on a permanent basis located in London. Our client are specialists
in providing support in design, engineering and building services, dealing with
large infrastructure projects across the UK and Middle East. Due to internal expansion, our client are
seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team, working on a
variety of exciting commercial projects. This is the perfect role for individuals
looking to further their career in an innovative company. Key responsibilities: Creating detailed project designs for commercial
infrastructure projects Liaising with the client and other key
stakeholders to ensure all parties are kept up to date with progress Managing the production of drawings, reports and
specifications Providing guidance and support to junior team
members Using relevant CAD and BIM software to develop
designs from concept to fully detailed and co-ordinated design packages Participating in project and technical meetings Ensuring design and maintenance of building
systems meet legislative, and health and safety requirements The successful candidate will possess the following skills
and attributes: Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building
Services Engineering, ideally to Masters level Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE Proven experience in a similar Mechanical
Engineering role Experience working on large scale commercial or
infrastructure projects would be advantageous Excellent planning an organisational skills Good understanding of software packages
including Revit MEP and AutoCAD Knowledge of sustainable building design and
regulations Able to liaise with clients and develop strong
