Blueprint Recruitment have several amazing opportunities for Business Development Managers to work for a Sustainable Resource and Energy Solutions Company, with opportunities regionally across the UK.

As an integral part of the UK BD Management team, your main focus will be to maximise sales and prospect development in defined market sectors for the Bioresource Division. You will aim to achieve strategic technical and commercial goals and targets whilst raising the profile of Nijhuis Saur Industries in the UK market. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Developing and following an agreed sales strategy and action plan to actively grow the sales for Bioresource Recovery projects in order to maximise commercial opportunities for the company
  • Rapidly and sustainably expand the sales turnover of Bioresource schemes, primarily within the Industrial, Municipal and Agricultural markets in the UK & Eire
  • Developing and maintaining key relationships in the Bioresource/renewables sector throughout the UK, with the aim of expanding the customer base by responding to enquiries, liaising with existing and potential customers and building and maintaining relationships
  • Raising the profile of Nijhuis Saur Industries UK & Eire capability in these sectors through marketing initiatives, direct targeting, and representation and presentations at industry bodies and events
  • Qualifying new leads and scheduling meetings with prospective clients based upon assessment of qualification criteria
  • Preparing cost sheets, proposals and quotations for the supply and installation of process water equipment in cooperation with Technical Management and Group support
  • Reviewing tender specifications for competitive tender details to ensure the appropriate technological solution(s) are presented, including working collaboratively with other members of staff to create and submit tender proposal documents
  • Liaising with project and division managers to ensure that existing projects are running smoothly and support issues are being dealt with promptly
  • Managing multiple existing projects and proposals simultaneously whilst actively seeking new project opportunities
  • Working with the Marketing and Innovation team to establish routine and campaign specific methods of targeting clients and key accounts, and identifying opportunities to develop and implement novel approaches and technologies to the Bioresource market

 Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of HNC, HND or Degree (preferred)
