Blueprint Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Technician to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy on a Permanent basis, in London. Our client has a wealth of knowledge and experience designing award-winning facilities for a variety of sectors including Aviation, Rail, Education and Healthcare. Due to continued success, they are looking for a skilled Civil Technician to join their innovative team.

Key responsibilities of the role will include providing support in the delivery of several projects, as well as producing bid documentation, meeting with relevant clients and mentoring junior members of staff. This role will be hybrid, with the successful candidate only required to be in the office 2/3 days a week.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Degree Qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline

  • Approaching Chartership status and a Member of an appropriate professional institution

  • Experience in Civil/Infrastructure design

  • Experience using relevant packages, including Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley 3D AECOsim, Microdrainage, GIS packages

  • Technical expertise in Highway Design, Water Supply, Power Supply, Flood Risk and Drainage, Civil Structures, Earthworks, and understanding of  Climate Change, Smart Cities, Resilience and Sustainability

  • Experience mentoring and leading junior staff members and small teams

  • Experience liaising with clients

  • Excellent communication and written skills.
