Are you an experienced Digital Engineer looking to join a reputable Design & Build Contractor in the UK Water Sector?

Are you looking to drive Digital Engineering forward and work on a wide variety of water and wastewater Capital Projects? If so, my client currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Delivery Lead to join their team and offer Digital support cross region and in the office.


Location – Southern Water Region – flexible working on offer.


The role (Digital Delivery Lead)

  • Implement Digital Delivery as a strategic priority for the client.

  • Core Digital Delivery tools are: Delivery & Digital Strategy, Visual Project Initiation (Including Digital Survey), Date rich 3d models, Collaborative Reviews, Digital Rehearsals, Digital Field Management and Building Data & Analytics capability).

  • Ensure regional team have the support needed to integrate these digital tools.


Regional Strategic and Management Role (25% of the time)

  • Drive the digital delivery agenda within the CMDP framework; be
    relentless in pursuit of change management and redefining the default to digital delivery.

  • Manage the digital delivery toolbox maturity matrix to ensure they are meeting our commitments.

  • Work closely with Regional Leads to identify key resources to build a strategic in region team.

  • Help report into the Core Digital Team ensuring alignment with the overarching
    our client’s strategy.


Regional Rehearsal Role (25% of the time)

  • Develop and implement an overarching strategy for Digital Rehearsals in Region.

  • Work with regional Digital Delivery Leads to develop regional strategies covering the tools, techniques, and training necessary for integration into the regional delivery processes.

  • Work closely with the Regional Leads identifying regional resources, both facilitators and technicians, to prepare, deliver and run rehearsals for their programmes of work.

  • Report into the National Rehearsal Lead ensuring alignment with the digital rehearsal strategy.


Collaboration Platform Role  (25% of time)

  • Develop, implement, and execute the strategy to fully adopt the use of BIM 360 Field across the region, embedding the platform as business as usual for project delivery.

  • Rollout, support and as required manage the training of BIM 360 Field across the framework building a catalogue of support material and learning academy.

  • Connect centrally to the core digital delivery team lead ensuring best practice is adopted and learning is shared across all business regions.

Digital Implementation and Support Specialist (25% of time)

  • Be responsible for providing momentum in the adoption of the right tools at the right time.

  • Ensure the maximum efficiencies are gained from the tools and manage system issues on a proactive basis.

  • Continuously look for synergies in regional processes and system functionality.


As the Digital Delivery Lead will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:


  • Experience of 4D Synchro software.

  • Degree Qualified or equivalent.

  • Good communication skills, presentation skills and computer skills to be able to work with Delivery Teams developing and implement regional strategies and practical applications.

  • Bridge the gap between engineering and delivery functions through collaborative practices.
